2 oz Belle Meade Bourbon
1/4 oz Maple Syrup
1 dash Angostura Bitters
1 dash Peychaud's Bitters
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice and stir briefly. Strain into a rocks glass over ice and garnish with orange peel expressed over the drink.
What's better than a great Old Fashioned? Not much. As simple as they are tasty, it's a drink for all occasions.
Bourbon Belle was a descendant of Bonnie Scotland, the horse on the right side of the Belle Meade Bourbon label. The drink, like the horse, is stately and strong.
